Knowing Scripture
Knowing Scripture is a DVD study that
shows us that it is the privilege and duty of
every believer to diligently study God’s
Word. It reminds us that along with this
privilege comes the responsibility to
interpret the Bible correctly. Dr. R.C. Sproul
teaches that interpreting Scripture, like all
sciences, is governed by rules. He lays out
the basic guidelines for correctly
understanding, interpreting, and applying
Scripture, using time-tested principles
from Scripture to show how to find the true
meaning of its contents. This class will be
facilitated by Doug Sachs and held in the
Sanctuary

Becoming God's True Woman
WOMEN'S CLASS
After decades of feminism, a new
movement is calling women back to
biblical standards for womanhood. In
keeping with that movement, Nancy Leigh
DeMoss has brought together the
messages of seven respected teachers,
all women. They approach the subject of
biblical womanhood from different angles,
but running throughout it all is a thread of
joy at the part women play in God's
redemptive plan. This class will be
facilitated by Tracy Reavis and held in the
Front Room of the Townhouse

to the humble." - 1 Peter 5:5 A battle
rages within us every day - pride versus
humility. And it's a fight we can't win
without looking repeatedly to Christ and
the cross. C. J. Mahaney raises a battle
cry to daily, diligently, and deliberately
weaken our greatest enemy (pride) and
cultivate our greatest friend (humility). His
thorough examination clarifies
misconceptions, revealing the truth about
why God detests pride and turns His
active attention to the humble. This class
will be facilitated by John Boswell and
held in the Middle Room of the
Townhouse.

What does holiness look like?
"Scripture speaks of both a holiness we
have in Christ before God, and a holi-
ness we are to strive after," writes
Bridges. We can ignore neither Christ's
role nor our own if we are to success-
fully pursue holiness. It is as simple as
refusing to smudge the truth on a tax
return or as complicated as forgiving the
person who has most viciously hurt us.
Bridges takes holiness out of the realm
of the impossible and brings it into the
real world of your daily life and deci-
sions. This class will be facilitated by
Pastors Kuvakas and Hoke and held in
the Old Kitchen of the Townhouse

Sermon on the Mount
This 10 week Precept course is
foundational for the life of the Christian
and non-Christian alike since it teaches
about the character of a righteous man
and how this is lived out. In Jesus'
teaching in Matthew 5-7, we see the life
that we are to live spelled out by our
Lord - but we are to rest assured that
this is not something we do on our own
- in fact, what we'll be studying is the
very character of Jesus. Class is
facilitated by Betty Aiello and meets on
Tuesday mornings from 9:30 - 11:30 AM.

mother. We will take 12 weeks to study
and discuss the topics addressed in this
work. Child care is provided on Tuesday
mornings. Classes will be facilitated by
Lois Ristau and Dee Griffith and meet on
Tuesday mornings from 9:30 - 11:30 and
on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 -
8:30. Choose which class best suits
your schedule.
